# How to turn referral emails into leads automatically

> A written walkthrough of the video showing how Leaf360's inbound email parser turns a referral partner's email into a lead automatically.

This is the written version of a short video showing how to stop copying names and numbers out of referral emails by hand.

## How it works

Every Leaf360 account comes with a unique inbound email address that works as a parser. You can either make it the main email your referral partners send business to, or just CC it on emails that already go somewhere else — either way works.

Once an email lands in it, Leaf360 automatically breaks the message down: it looks for the name, email, phone number, any notes, and any details about the loan, then creates that lead in the system for you automatically.
