# Add Lender

> Add a wholesale lender that is not in the marketplace yet. What happens next depends on whether you are a company admin.

Add Lender is the form behind the **Add Lender** button on [TPO Marketplace](/mortgage-crm/marketplace). What happens when you submit it depends on your role.

<Note>
  If you're not a company admin, the same button reads **Request Lender** instead, and the form's last step asks you to confirm a request rather than create the lender outright.
</Note>

## Company admins: this creates the lender immediately

When a company admin submits this form, it creates a live, connected lender right away. That lender also joins the shared marketplace directory that every company on Leaf360 can see and connect to — the same directory covered in [TPO Marketplace](/mortgage-crm/marketplace). There's no private, company-only option in the form.

## Everyone else: this submits a request

If you're not a company admin, submitting the form doesn't create anything visible yet. It creates a request that stays out of the marketplace until a company admin approves it. Approving it turns it into the same kind of live, shared-directory lender an admin's own submission would create. Rejecting it just removes the request.

If the lender you're adding already exists somewhere in the marketplace, the form tells you and asks you to connect to that existing entry instead of creating a duplicate.

## Filling it in

The form walks you through five steps, and you can step back to an earlier one anytime:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Lender details">
    Logo, lender name (required), lender type, channel, NMLS ID, website, tagline and description.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Products offered">
    Loan products, plus the income documentation types the lender accepts — including custom income types you type in yourself.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Coverage & requirements">
    Which states the lender covers, or national coverage. Minimum FICO, maximum LTV, maximum DTI, and minimum and maximum loan amount. Turn times for initial underwriting, conditions, clear to close, and funding. A free-form list of key highlights.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Contact info">
    The account executive or primary contact's name, title, email and phone. A separate general lender email and phone. Any loan origination systems the lender integrates with, and a portal URL if they have one.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review & submit">
    Everything you entered, laid out for a final check before you submit.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Nothing beyond lender name is required to move between steps, so you can submit a bare-bones entry now and fill in the rest later by editing the lender.

<Warning>
  Minimum FICO, maximum LTV, and the other guideline fields are exactly what you type — nothing more. Leaf360 doesn't check them against the lender, so don't treat anything here as a current or reliable statement of that lender's actual guidelines. Confirm anything that matters for a live loan directly with the lender.
</Warning>
