# Scenarios

> Describe a loan scenario to LIA and get back which of your connected lenders can take it, with the guideline detail behind the answer.

Scenarios is a chat with LIA built for one job: matching a loan scenario to the lenders that can actually take it. You describe the borrower and the loan, and LIA searches the marketplace — including the guideline documents attached to your connected lenders — to give you specifics instead of a generic yes or no.

Open it from the **Scenarios** tile at the top of the sidebar, above the main menu. It sits next to a **Credit** tile and a **Live** tile, and stays in the same spot whether the sidebar is expanded or collapsed.

<Warning>
  Treat every answer as a starting point, not the final word. LIA reads whatever guideline documents and lender-entered fields it has access to at the time, and those can go stale. Confirm rate, guideline, and eligibility details directly with the lender before you rely on them for a live loan.
</Warning>

## Starting a conversation

When you first open it, you'll see a handful of example prompts to get you going — things like asking which of your lenders will do a DSCR loan at a given FICO and property type, or comparing turn times across your connected lenders for a loan you need closed fast. Typing your own question works the same way. Ask about a scenario the way you'd ask a colleague: the loan type, the borrower's numbers, and what's unusual about the file.

**All Lenders** in the header takes you to [TPO Marketplace](/mortgage-crm/marketplace) to browse lenders directly instead of asking LIA.

## Talking instead of typing

Click the microphone icon to switch to voice mode: LIA speaks its answer back and listens for yours, with **Mute** and **End** controls while it's live. Voice mode is a real live conversation, not a recording, so treat it the same as typing — verify anything specific before you act on it.

## Your conversation history

On the left, you'll find a list of your past conversations, grouped by when you last used them, with a search box to find one by title. Conversations save on their own — there's no separate save step. Open one from the list to pick up where you left off. Delete removes a conversation and everything in it for good.

## Rating an answer

Each answer from LIA carries a star rating you can set. Rating it sends feedback to Leaf360 about whether that response was useful — it doesn't change what LIA tells you or anyone else going forward.

## Common problems

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="LIA says none of my lenders take this scenario">
    LIA only knows what it can find in the guideline documents and fields attached to lenders you're connected to. If you think a lender you work with should take it, check that their guideline documents are up to date, or ask them directly.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Voice mode will not connect">
    Voice mode needs a working microphone and a stable connection. If it won't connect, switch back to typing your question instead.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I cannot find an old conversation">
    Use the search box above the conversation list. It matches the conversation's title, not the full text of every message.
