# Site Builder

> Build and publish a mortgage website in Leaf360 Mortgage CRM: pre-built templates, one-click AI builds, the design system that keeps AI pages on brand, and publishing to a live address.

Site Builder generates and hosts websites, from a loan officer's personal site to a single-product landing page, without leaving Leaf360. A site is a project made up of pages. You edit each page by hand or let AI fill it in, and publishing turns your project into a real, publicly reachable address.

Open it from **Marketing**, then **Websites**, under **Tools** in the sidebar.

  The sidebar marks this entry **Coming Soon**. The screen underneath is not a placeholder: creating a project, generating a page with AI, saving your work and publishing all write to real records and produce a real, live site. Don't let the tag stop you from using it.

## Starting a site from the dashboard

The dashboard opens with a prompt box. Type what you want built and press send, or pick one of the three quick prompts (**Loan Officer Website**, **Mortgage Landing Page**, **Recruiting Site**) to fill the box for you. Either way, Leaf360 creates a new project, sends your prompt to the editor, and opens it there — that's where the AI actually builds your site.

Below the prompt box are two separate galleries:

* **Ready-Made Templates** are four complete, pre-built sites, marked **Instant** because choosing one skips AI generation entirely. Leaf360 creates the project and drops the finished template straight into the editor.
* **Generate with AI** is six one-click starting prompts (**Modern Mortgage**, **Loan Officer Site**, **Product Landing**, **Mortgage Broker**, **Recruiting Site**, **Pre-Approval**), each a detailed brief for a specific kind of site. Clicking one creates a project and sends that brief to the editor the same way the prompt box does.

## Design System

The **Design System** button opens a box tied to your company's [Brand Wiki](/mortgage-crm/brand-wiki) rather than to any one project. It takes your logos, colors, fonts, voice and compliance details and turns them into a written design brief. Every AI site build reads that brief before it generates a page, so your pages come out consistent with each other instead of each looking like a different site.

If your company hasn't set up a Brand Wiki yet, the box tells you so and stops there rather than generating from nothing. Once one exists, **Generate** produces the design brief and the button on the dashboard shows **Design System active · v1**, going up a version each time it's regenerated. You can also edit the generated text directly and save your own version.

  You need an administrator or marketing manager role to generate or edit the Design System — the same role required to edit Brand Wiki itself.

## My Sites

Once you've created a project, a **My Sites (n)** button appears beside **View All**. Opening it lists every project you've started: a thumbnail, its name, page count, last updated date, and a small **Live** or **Draft** label. Clicking a project opens its editor. The menu on each row offers:

* **Edit**, opens the editor.
* **Blog**, opens that site's blog, a separate content list with its own AI drafting and its own publish state per post.
* **View live**, only shown once a project is published, opens the public address in a new tab.
* **Delete**, permanent. A confirmation box tells you plainly that all pages and content are removed and the action cannot be undone.

## New Site Project

**New Site** opens a dedicated creation screen with the same starting points organized as tabs instead of galleries: **Pre-Built**, **Blank**, **Company** and **Starter**.

* **Pre-Built** is the same four instant templates as the dashboard.
* **Blank** opens an empty project, to build with AI prompts or by dragging and dropping blocks from nothing.
* **Company** lists templates your own company has published from an existing site. If none exist yet, the screen says so and suggests asking an admin to publish one.
* **Starter** lists system templates Leaf360 ships. If none are available it says so rather than showing an empty grid.

You need to fill in a **Project Name** before **Create & Open Editor** becomes clickable, and you can add an optional **Description** alongside it. Picking a template fills in a name for you as a starting point, which you can still change.

## Site Templates

**View All** opens the full gallery — the four pre-built templates plus every company and system template. You can filter it by search or by category (**Mortgage**, **Landing Page**, **Real Estate**, **Broker**, **Recruiting**, **Portfolio**, **Business**, **Custom**). Choosing a company or system template opens a **Clone** box asking for a new name, then creates your copy as a new project. Choosing a pre-built template behaves like it does everywhere else: an instant new project with that template already in place.

## The editor

Opening a project, from any of the paths above, takes you to a full-screen editor where you can adjust each element's settings in a side panel, switch between **Desktop**, **Tablet**, and **Mobile** views, and undo or redo changes. If you arrived from an AI prompt, that generation starts automatically as soon as the editor loads.

**Publish** puts your current pages on a live, public web address, generated the first time you publish. Publishing again after edits pushes your latest changes to that same address; you don't need to unpublish first. **Unpublish** takes the site offline without deleting it, so publishing again later is instant. Both are real actions that update the project record, not just a confirmation message on screen.

## Common problems

    It needs a Brand Wiki to read from. Set one up first, or ask an administrator or marketing manager to.

  <Accordion title="My Sites doesn't show up">
    The button only appears once you've created at least one project. Start one from the prompt box, a template, or New Site.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="View live is missing from a project's menu">
    That project has never been published. Open it in the editor and publish it first.

  <Accordion title="The Company tab under New Site Project is empty">
    Your company hasn't published a site as a template yet. That's done from inside a project, and it requires an admin.
