# Recruiting

> The workspace for hiring, onboarding and licensing your own team: what it holds, who uses it, and how it differs from the other two Leaf360 workspaces.

Recruiting is the Leaf360 workspace for bringing new people onto your own team and keeping them compliant once they are there. It covers a candidate from first contact through hiring, onboarding, licensing and ongoing compliance.

Leaf360 is software sold to mortgage companies. It is not a lender.

<Note>
  Recruiting manages your own company's team members. It does **not** manage broker partners. Broker partners live in Wholesale CRM.
</Note>

## Who uses it

Recruiting is for the people who hire, onboard and license your own staff, whether that is a dedicated recruiting team, an operations lead, or a branch manager filling their own roster. If the person you are working with is going to work for your company, this is the workspace. If they work for a broker company that sends you business, they belong in Wholesale CRM instead.

## What is in the workspace

* **Dashboard** shows counts for Active Applications, Active Onboarding, NMLS Transfers and Background Checks, including a background check completion rate, along with how many applicants have been screened and how many are still in review. It also lists recent hires with their onboarding progress, and recent applications with a priority flag and the latest note on each one.
* **Pipelines** covers **Recruiting**, **Applicants**, **Onboarding** and **Rejected Applicants**, the stages a candidate moves through from first contact to becoming an active team member, or to being turned down.
* **Active Team** lists **All Members**, **Branches**, **Loan Officers** and **Support Staff**, plus **Team Reports**. Team Reports can be grouped by dimensions including **Licensed States**, which is why questions about where your own staff are licensed belong here.
* **Communication** holds **Email Templates**.
* **Automations** holds **Workflows** for onboarding.
* **Payroll** covers **Commission Requests** and **Reports**.
* **Tasks** and the **Documents Vault** sit below that.

At the foot of the sidebar, **User Management** manages who has access to this workspace, **Team Management** groups your people into teams, and **Settings** opens **Stage Management** and **General Settings**.

## How it relates to the other workspaces

Leaf360 Mortgage CRM is where loan officers work leads and loans directly with borrowers. Wholesale CRM is where broker companies and the loan officers and support staff who work for them are tracked. Recruiting sits apart from both: everything in it is about your own company's people, from the day you first talk to a candidate to the day their license is on file.

A team member record in Recruiting carries their licensed states and licensing detail, which is why annual licensing and compliance questions about your own staff are answered here and not in one of the other two workspaces.

<Note>
  Detailed guides for Recruiting are in progress. This page will be replaced by a full set of screen by screen guides, in the same style as the Leaf360 Mortgage CRM section.
