Contacts is where everyone who isn’t a borrower lives: real estate agents, title companies, insurance agents, attorneys, inspectors, CPAs, closing agents, and the rest of the trade. Leaf360 calls them business contacts, and each one carries a contact type, a stage, an owner, and a production history. Open it from Partners under Pipelines in the sidebar.
This screen goes by three names, and all three are correct. The sidebar row says Partners, the browser tab says Contacts, and the heading on the page itself says All Business Contacts. They’re all the same list.
Borrower records aren’t here — you’ll find those on All People and in Sales Pipeline.

The header

Next to the heading is the number of contacts your filters match. Two more numbers join it when there’s something to show: active, counting contacts sitting in an active or top partner stage, and volume, adding up their loan volume. Both of those are based only on the rows on your current page, not your whole filtered list. Three icon buttons finish the row:

Adding a contact

Add Contact opens the Add New Contact form, for adding a referral partner or business contact. First Name, Last Name, and Contact Type are required, and Loan Officer is required whenever the form asks for it. Everything else is optional: stage, a collaborator, email, cell and work phone, company, local branch, notes, and a production section covering annual units, annual volume, buyer-side deals, seller-side deals, average sales price, years of experience, and production year. If the person already exists, Leaf360 won’t create a second record. It tells you the contact already exists, adds you to that existing record as a collaborator, and keeps you right where you are instead of opening a new record.

Contact pipelines

Add Partner Pipeline opens Create New Pipeline. Give it a name, an optional description, an icon, and a color, and pick at least one contact type. Name and contact types are both required. A new pipeline shows up in the sidebar under Pipelines as its own row, and clicking it takes you to Partner Pipelines rather than back here. Contacts stays your view over everything; a pipeline is a view over just one slice.

Finding contacts

1

Search

The Search by name, email, or phone… box sits at the top left and searches your whole list, not just the page you’re on.
2

Filter by created date

The date control offers All Time, Today, Yesterday, This Week, Last Week, This Month, Last Month, and Custom Range…, the last of which adds a Pick range button with a two-month calendar.
3

Filter by column

Click a column title to open a menu with Sort and, where the column supports it, Filter. What the filter offers depends on the kind of column — covered below.
4

Narrow to one owner

The Lead Team control limits the list to one team member. It’s a paid feature, so it won’t show up at all on the free plan.
Applied column filters show up as small tags next to the search box. Clear drops them all, and Save stores the set as a smart filter. Saved sets live under Smart Filters, which reads No saved filters yet. until you’ve saved one.

What each kind of column filter offers

Sort labels follow the column too: A → Z and Z → A for text, Low → High and High → Low for numbers, Oldest → Newest and Newest → Oldest for dates.

Choosing your columns

Click Columns to open a searchable list with a checkbox per column, plus Show all, Hide all, and Reset at the bottom. Drag the grip handle to reorder columns — this is turned off while you have text in the search box. By default you’ll see Contact, Type, Stage, Tier, Assigned To, Email, Phone, Referrals, Closed, Volume, and Last Activity, plus any custom fields your company set to show in lists. Everything else starts turned off. That covers contact detail (work and home phone, secondary email, license number, date of birth, address, city, state, zip, county, priority, preferred contact method, fax, timezone, suffix, unit), classification (tags, specialties, territory, buy side, sell side, campaign, responded, attempts, team lead, CRM source, partner source, source, branch, pipeline, pipeline stage, created date), performance (average loan amount, performance score, account executive), communication recency (last call, last email, last text, last inbound, last outbound, last responded, direction and response type), and a large agent production section covering the last twelve months of sides, volume, loan counts by program, and the source of that data. Your choices and the order you put them in are remembered on the computer you set them on.

Working a row

Click a row to open the contact. Contact is also a link that does the same thing. The email cell opens a message to that person, and the phone cell gives you Call and Text options. If a contact is sitting in an assignment queue, the Assigned To cell shows a Claim Contact button instead. The Actions menu at the end of the row gives you View Details, then Call, Text, and Email wherever the contact has those details on file, then Move to Stage listing every stage but the current one, then Archive and Delete. Right-click a row for Contact Actions: Open contact, Open in new tab, and Copy contact link.

Acting on many contacts at once

Check rows, or the header checkbox to grab the whole page. The bar that appears offers Select all records to extend your selection to everything your filters match. Archive and Delete both ask you to type something first: the contact’s first name if it’s just one, or the word confirmed if it’s several.
Power Dial and Merge only work on the rows Leaf360 has actually loaded, even if you used Select all records. If you start a dial after selecting everything, Leaf360 will tell you it’s starting with what’s loaded. The stage, type, assignment, tag, partner source, archive, and delete actions do cover your whole selection.

Cleaning up duplicates

Find Duplicates opens Contact Duplicate Analysis. It starts empty with Scan your contacts to find duplicates and a Scan button. Afterward, the button becomes Rescan, and the panel tells you how many groups and records it found. Each group expands to show the records inside it, with the oldest one marked, and gives you three options:
  • Merge opens the merge screen so you choose what to keep.
  • Archive Extras keeps the oldest and archives the rest.
  • Delete Extras keeps the oldest and deletes the rest after you confirm.
When there is nothing to find it says No duplicates found and All contacts appear to be unique.

Pagination

Rows per page offers 10, 25, 50, and 100, and starts at 25. The range and total sit beside it, and the arrows step you through first, previous, next, and last. An empty table reads No contacts found.

Contacts, Partner Pipelines and All People

Contacts and Partner Pipelines share the same table and the same records, so an edit you make in one shows up in the other. What’s different is the question each one answers: Contacts counts every business contact you hold, while Partner Pipelines counts only the members of the pipeline you opened — so a smaller total there is expected, not a problem.

Common questions

Leaf360 won’t create a second record for someone it already has. Instead, it links you to the existing contact as a collaborator and tells you so. Search for the person and open the record you already have.
Both are based only on the rows on your current page. The contacts count beside them is the real total for your filters.
It’s a paid feature, and it’s also missing if your company has no other team members loaded yet. Either way, there’s no placeholder in its spot.
You can’t import from this screen. Use Import Data, reached from the spreadsheet icon in the header, and choose Partners.
Check the search box, the column filter tags, the date filter, and the Lead Team control. Then check the archive — archived contacts drop off this list.
